by João MarceloSAO PAULO -The CDC (Center for Disease Control) of the United States reduced the threat of travel to Brazil during the covid-19 pandemic. Before, the US agency categorized the country as “very high” risk and now the danger has dropped to “high”.
Previously, the orientation of the authorities was that the North Americans avoid traveling to Brazil as much as possible. With the change, the CDC warns that tourists must be fully vaccinated before visiting the country and, those who are not immunized, should avoid the trip if it is not essential.
Brazil went to the agency’s maximum alert level on May 19th.
